Did you know several to your kitchen or garage items and accessories can be used to remove stubborn tar stains from your car?
The truth is that tar is just an oil based extract and these anti adhesives will emulsify the oil making it easy to wipe off. The cleaners include peanut butter, WD-40, baking soda, and vegetable oil.   
Besides household items, we also have commercial solutions to the irritating menace.
Let’s see the items;

      Tar remover

      The best tar remover for car paint dissolves the oil based bitumen stains making them easy to glide off.
Step 1; Wet a microfiber pad or towel with the asphalt remover. Use the wet cloth to spread the remover on the tar spots. It they are too rigid, you may want to spot clean them, in which you spray the bitumen remover from a spray bottle.
Step 2; Clean the spots in a circular pattern while applying light pressure. Once the microfiber towel gets dirty on one side, flip it over and wipe with the reverse side.
Step 3; Use a clean towel to wipe the sections
Step 4; Repeat until the car is spotless

Baking soda

You can place or rub baking soda on the tar spots, leave it to react and soften the baked asphalt before wiping off with a wet cloth or pad.

Eucalyptus oil-

Combining bicarbonate soda with eucalyptus oil also works great. Pour eucalyptus oil onto a teaspoon of baking soda placed on a wet microfiber towel and rub the tar spots. Wipe, rinse and leave it to dry.

Peanut butter

Ensure that the peanut butter is smooth and does not have the additives used to enhance crunchiness as these might scratch the car finish. Smear the bitumen streaks with the household peanut butter applied to microfiber cloth and leave it overnight to soften.
Wipe off the tar- butter mix up with a second clean cloth. Wash the car and let it dry.

WD-40

The WD-40 compound also works great in soaking the bitumen spots in readiness for washing off. Spray the target spots with WD-40 and leave it to soak for 30 seconds.
You can also spray the WD-40 on a terry cloth and wipe off the stains.
